Pet World was founded 20 years ago.  The owners had years of experience selling whole sale pet supplies, but wanted to branch out and fulfill a need they saw in the retail pet supply market. 
 
In 1990 they founded Pet World.
 
Ever since, Pet World has been striving to be the best pet store in the Metrowest area with the largest variety of items. We carry numerous hard-to-find pet items, have a knowledgeable staff, and sell healthy, well-cared-for small animals, fish, reptiles, and birds. For years, Pet World has housed the adoption center for Stray Pets In Need of Massachusetts (S.P.I.N). Working with S.P.I.N., they have placed thousands of stray and surrendered cats into loving homes.
